On Friday the 30th of October as part of my New Digital immersion PD, I learnt how to do my first screen cast. It was a very exciting experience. I started in Room 7 at the end of Term 2 so my classroom site was already set up. I have had to learn a lot when it comes to sites and how to add things to my site, such as updated rubrics, how to add links etc.
I would love to for next year change my classroom site and make it my own by adding on the home page an events bubble that lets the children know what events are coming up during the week.
I found that having children's reading text attached digitally on the reading rubric helpful as it is one click away same with having follow up digital learning object attached to the reading rubric helpful.
I am really looking forward to learning more about sites, and would to learn how to can make my site my own and make it unique for next year for my students and parent.
